Route4 Solutions, a temporary driver recruitment agency and courier business, is one of 15 new businesses to move into the newly built Colliers Business Park in Cotgrave, Nottingham.

The firm, which has relocated from Basford and taken a five-year lease in Cotgrave, says the move will help it centralise its business operations and provide dedicated meeting rooms and office space. The unit also comprises 1,076 sq ft of warehouse space, which will become the central hub for the newly-created Route4 Couriers division.

Colliers Business Park is part of a £100m project to regenerate Cotgrave, which includes a £1.2m improvement scheme committed to developing the town centre, as well as the construction of 470 new residential properties. Funding for the scheme was acquired by Rushcliffe Borough Council in 2015 through the Growth Deal Funding initiative provided by D2N2 LEP.

Councillor Simon Robinson, leader of the Council said “The units provide much needed space for new and expanding businesses like Route4 Solutions. Encouraging new enterprises helps the council to create employment opportunities for local people, which also helps to boost the local economy.”

Route4 Solutions managing director, Mike Harris, added: “Our significant growth meant we needed to look for alternative workspace. Fortunately, the units at Colliers Business Park were perfect and suited the needs of our business. Its strategic location close to both the A46 and A52 will help us to continue our growth across the East Midlands.”
