JLL secures 45,000 sq ft city centre lettings
JLL says it has brokered around 45,000 sq ft of office lettings in the past six months at City Gate, Nottingham, making it one of the top performing buildings in the city.
Having attracted a number of high profile occupiers including HD Decisions, part of Experian and Domestic & General, JLL says further deals are expected to complete imminently.
James Keeton, director at JLL said: “We are extremely pleased to be able to accommodate and retain the expansion of these sizeable employers in Nottingham and at City Gate.
“The real USP’s of City Gate are for occupiers to take large chunks of space on single floors, combined with a heart of city centre location. Ample car parking and market competitive pricing has also been key in its recent run of success.
“Due to its scale, City Gate has also enabled some occupiers to expand internally once they are a tenant, mitigating against high costs of relocation and staff disruption, offering some element of future proofing and contributing to the success and appeal of the buildings.”
Keeton added: “Going forward, whilst a lack of new Grade A stock remains prevalent in the market, offices such as City Gate offer very credible alternatives, with a flexible and accommodating approach and have consistently continued to perform.
“This is reflected by a strong occupier mix, with top tenant names including RSM, Scape, Regus, Nottingham Post and NTU.”
JLL act as joint agents with Geo Hallam on the buildings.
