Leicestershire software company swoops for southern counterpart

A software company, based in Leicestershire, has become one of the largest providers of enterprise resource planning system (ERP) NetSuite in the UK, with a team of 25 people, following a swoop for a counterpart.

BrightBridge Solutions, based just outside Sharnford, has bought Clear ERP, a similar NetSuite ERP solutions provider, in Reigate Surrey.

The acquisition has seen BrightBridge Solutions gain over 20 new NetSuite customers. Clear ERP managing director Julian Griffiths has been appointed to BrightBridge’s board of directors.

BrightBridge Solutions, which says it will turnover £2.5m by the end of its financial year, works with SMEs to provide implementation and support services for cloud based ERP business software NetSuite and other business systems.

NetSuite enables customers to avoid high IT costs and the ongoing maintenance associated with on-premise software, by providing accounting, order processing, inventory control, manufacturing and e commerce solutions in one fully integrated system.

Gary Springall, managing director of BrightBridge Solutions, said: “We are delighted to welcome the team at Clear ERP, their customers and partners to the BrightBridge family. At BrightBridge our customers are at the heart of everything we do and the more expertise and resources we can offer them, the better.”

He added: “We are very excited about working with Julian and his team, bringing new and complimentary skills to the organisation which will add even more breadth and depth to our sales, delivery and support capability.

“Building upon an already strong foundation of implementing and supporting NetSuite ERP solutions, this acquisition will further raise our profile and competitive edge in the market, getting us closer to our goal of becoming the number one partner for NetSuite in the UK.”

Julian Griffiths of Clear ERP said: “I have been working with BrightBridge for a couple of years now and feel that they share the same business principles and outlook as Clear ERP. As a result, the team is looking forward to a great future within BrightBridge and is excited about the opportunities that working with them will provide.”
