On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Property law firm Brady Solicitors has added two new lawyers to its Nottingham team.

Alexandra Byard has joined Brady Solicitors from Taylor & Emmett and Cheryl Bates has joined from Shakespeare Martineau.

Miller Homes has appointed a new operations director for the East Midlands.

Ben Massey, who previously held the position of land director at the business, will oversee developments in Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, and Leicestershire, and will be based at the Derby regional office.

The appointment follows the announcement that the leading housebuilder plans to bring 466 new homes to the East Midlands region this year.

Massey said: “Throughout the course of my career I have been lucky enough to gain a wealth of experience in the industry. I am excited to be taking on this role as we continue to bring new and high quality homes to the region, helping even more people secure their dream property.”
