EM Lawshare appoints partner law firms on four year panel

EM Lawshare, the largest local authority legal consortium in the country, has appointed its panel of law firm partners to deliver legal advice to its members at discounted rates.

The consortium, originally launched in 2006 in the East Midlands,, has spearheaded the drive to deliver efficiency and cost savings to local authorities buying legal services.

t has now grown to over 130 members including local authorities, NHS Trusts, fire and rescue services, police forces and housing organisations which can generate savings to the public purse through bulk buying power.

As well as a concentration in the Midlands, members come from across the country.

The legal panel for 2018-2022 comprises seven law firms:

Bevan Brittan
Browne Jacobson
Freeths
Geldards
Sharpe Pritchard
Weightmans
Anthony Collins Solicitors is new on the panel, while the other six firms have been reappointed from the previous panel which ran from 2014-2018.
