Burton upon Trent-based software specialist BookWise Solutions has announced a record financial year for 2017, achieving 12 per cent business growth.

The news follows the launch of its new software package StudyWise, designed to improve the management of doctors training budgets, while the company has also relocated to a new, larger office based at Centrum One Hundred on the outskirts of Burton upon Trent.

BookWise Solutions says it now works with 88 NHS Trusts and Health Boards across the UK, providing tailored software packages designed to enhance efficiency within healthcare organisations.

Managing director at BookWise Solutions, Denise Williamson, said: “While the reasons for adopting our range of software solutions differs greatly between hospitals, it’s clear there is a running theme across the UK; that increasing pressures on the NHS is forcing Trusts to work as efficiently as possible in order to provide the best patient care.”

“Time saving solutions such as our software packages will play an increasingly crucial role in reducing waiting times during a time when the population is aging and the prevalence of chronic health conditions continues to rise. We are working hard to continually develop our offering to accommodate these new challenges and support our partner hospitals and Trusts even more in years to come”.

“We have been delighted with the continued growth of the business over the past 12 months and I’d like to thank all of the team for their hard work and commitment.”
