Long delays as collision closes A46

There are currently severe delays of over an hour for road users travelling on the A46 Leicester Western Bypass northbound between the A5630 (Antsy) and the A607 (Syston) due to a collision closing one lane just after the junction with A6 near Wanlip.

Leicestershire Police are on scene with the collision working to get it cleared.

Highways England says road users in the area are advised to plan ahead and consider alternative routes and to allow additional time for their journey.
