Nottingham law firm to open Lincoln office

Fraser Brown's new offices in Lincoln

Law firm Fraser Brown has announced that it is opening an office in Lincoln this April, making it the firm’s second city to its HQ in Nottingham.

Fraser Brown, which has a team of 120 professionals across three offices in Nottinghamshire, has taken the self-contained office on Kingsley Office Park on the south west side of Lincoln.

The law firm says it is working with a number of Lincolnshire-based businesses and had been looking for offices for a number of months. The new office will offer commercial and private client services including corporate law and real estate.

Initially the Lincoln team includes five full-time legal staff with supporting teams and the practice hopes to grow that organically over the coming 12-18 months. It is currently recruiting to expand the offering for its corporate, commercial and residential property departments in Lincoln.

Patrick Wood, managing partner at Fraser Brown, said: “Lincoln provides a great opportunity; with its continued investment into its infrastructure and proactive approach to development and supporting businesses, having a permanent presence in the city was a natural step for us.

“We are already an active member of the business community in Lincoln and in any successful region there is a need for legal services of the highest standards which we pride ourselves in supplying. We have already seen that demand here which further cemented our decision to invest in the city.

“The location of our new office is ideal; in close vicinity to a range of impressive professional services firms and is easily accessible for our clients with onsite parking.

“Myself and the team are excited to be in Lincoln and look forward to the opportunities that will bring for the firm. This move is not just about growing the company but continuing to provide legal services that exceed client expectations.”

Fraser Brown has been in MIPIM this week as an official sponsor of Team Lincolnshire.

John Tansur, commercial director at Fraser Brown, said: “Our property and construction legal team has expanded considerably over the last 18 months and we are the largest legal team in this sector in the East Midlands.

“Fraser Brown is a major player in this sector and attending MIPIM is a natural step for us to communicate our specialist services and further build our reputation amongst the property and construction elite. This is our second year supporting Team Lincolnshire and now that we have a permanent presence in Lincoln, we are further committed to supporting and championing the region.

“We work nationally and internationally and it’s important that we invest time and resource to MIPIM to cement existing client relationships as well as build new ones.”

The Lincoln office was secured on behalf of Fraser Brown by Nottingham-based Commercial Property Partners (CPP) with Lincoln-based Pygott & Crone working on behalf of the landlord.
