Severe delays on M1 in Leicestershire

The M1 in Leicestershire is experiencing severe delays northbound between J21A and J23 following a stranded vehicle in the carriageway which closed 2 lanes between J22 and J23.

Recovery is complete and all lanes have been re-opened but severe delays remain.

Highways Englands says road users may wish to consider alternative routes and are advised to allow extra time for their journey.
