A fire protection company has moved into a new headquarters after work was completed on the premises on Belmore Way on Westside Park.

O Heap & Sons Fire Protection Engineers has relocated to the new-build 8,900 sq ft site in Derby.

The work was carried out by project managers Armsons and contractors Ivygrove Developments.

The company’s new headquarters now features a workshop utility area on the ground floor, which includes a canteen, toilet block, loading bay, offices and reception area.

O Heap carries out a range of fire safety services, from the supply of simple extinguishers to the design and commissioning of complex multi-site alarm and emergency lighting systems.

The company runs fire training courses and fire risk assessments and has recently launched a full range of safety workwear.

Their firm says its new Derby headquarters will provide the it with more space to accommodate its current and future growth.

Nicholas Heap, managing director of the company, said: “We’re delighted with the works carried out by Ivygrove Developments and Armsons here at our new Raynesway headquarters. The new site is just what we needed as we move into another phase of growth for the business.

“The new space here at Raynesway will enable us to extend our range of products and services further still and work with even more local and national companies.”

Jonathan Heath, director at Armsons, added: “We’re very pleased with the outcome of this scheme. Our partnership with the contractors Ivygrove Developments worked well on what turned out to be a successful project.

“We hope O. Heap’s new headquarters will serve them well for many years to come.”
