Senior appointments at Derby accountancy firm

(L-R) Steven Potter, Fraser Goodall and Gary Brockway

A Derby-based business advisory firm has made three senior appointments to accelerate its growth across the region.

Fraser Goodall has been appointed as senior director at Baldwins Accountants at Friar Gate in Derby City Centre while Gary Brockway and Steven Potter have been named as directors.

The appointments are the latest at Baldwins’ Derby office since the firm acquired local accountants Lings and Parkinson Matthews in 2015, before moving them into its current premises at Friar Gate.

Goodall said: “There is great potential to grow our office at a time when various obstacles in the wider world are driving demand for our services.

“Gary has an excellent range of contacts and experience across the East Midlands market place, which will help us to expand our client base and ultimately help businesses to thrive.

“Steven’s appointment to director at 33 years of age should also be applauded, and will provide invaluable support in helping to drive Derby’s business community forward.

“Being part of a wider network of 63 offices also enables us to provide businesses with access to other financial services beyond accountancy, and myself, Gary and Steven will be using this point of difference as a springboard to grow the firm.”
