On the move: the latest East Midlands hires
Law firm Buckles Solicitors has announced a number of promotions.
Senior solicitor Paul Belliere-Wilson (private client), based at Buckles’ Stamford office, has become an associate, and Nottingham-based Nikki Aston (family) and Rob Wallwork (commercial property) have been promoted to the roles of senior solicitor and associate respectively.
Buckles’ chief operating officer, Jennie Oliver, said: “At Buckles, we pride ourselves on developing and investing in our staff and are delighted that they have been recognised for their achievements.”
Midlands Asset Finance (MAF) has appointed a new relationship manager in Lincoln.
Tom Gawne has joined the business to support SME and major corporate clients in Lincolnshire and the East Midlands with any asset finance, invoice finance or property funding.
Working in the Lincolnshire area for the last ten years, Gawne joins MAF from SME Banking, Lloyds Banking Group, where he spent eight years as a commercial manager.
MAF director, Sue Chapman, said: “I’m delighted that Tom has joined the team here.
“Tom is well known across Lincolnshire, and with his experience in supporting SMEs, I’m confident that, alongside our appetite for ‘yes’, he will enable us to continue helping businesses across the East Midlands.”
