PR firm to double workforce after Nottingham office move

Nottingham-based digital PR agency Tank is set to move into larger offices and create jobs after buying 5 Kayes Walk in the Lace Market.

Bosses say the 4,500 sq ft, three storey building will enable the business to double its 20-strong team.

Trevor Palmer, Tank’s founder, told TheBusinessDesk.com: “Tank has never been a conventional PR agency, and this has resonated with the types of clients – and of course employees that we want to work with. This refusal to conform to industry stereotypes has made us a destination for a lot of people who seek that point of difference.

“We hope that the new office, and what we will make of it, will reflect this – without being forced. We’re looking forward to what will be a more enjoyable, functional and aesthetic space for our expanding team and our clients.”

Neil Worthington of NatWest and consultant Julia Wilkinson assisted with funding for the building, with the purchase itself handled by Tom Redgate of Rothera Sharp. Mark Tomlinson of FHP Property Consultants also advised Tank throughout.

Tank was recently named in the PR Week top 70 consumer PR agencies in the UK, and top 180 overall.
