On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

John, as usual, networking hard

Nottingham Professional Services (NPS), the network for Nottingham’s professional community, has added well-known local figure John Murphy to its committee.

Murphy has worked across the region with major names including RSM, Baker Tilly and The Co-Operative Banking Group and is a commercial finance consultant at Nottingham financial broker Sterling Capital Reserve.

Murphy’s role will see him spearheading relationships with financial firms and raising awareness of funding options available for their clients.

He said: “I’ve been to many NPS events ever since it was formed and the key thing for me has been learning something new or meeting someone new that I can help or who can help me and my clients.

“I’m delighted to be joining this talented team who all devote a lot of their own time to building and maintaining Nottingham’s reputation as a professional services hub.”

Jane Boffey

Jane Boffey has joined the sales team at Mill Fields, the Leicestershire new homes development in Broughton Astley from housebuilder William Davis Homes.

She said: “I’m excited to be joining such a thriving development where we’re welcoming house hunters looking for their first home, something with room to grow or just that little bit easier to manage. We’re actually finding that many of our purchasers are relocating from within the village, to quickly take advantage of Mill Fields’ superb location and views across the Leicestershire countryside.

“Buying a house is such a major purchase; I’m excited to be a part of that process and helping match house hunters with their dream home.”
