The offices of law firm Howes Percival have been sold in a mulmultimillion-pound investment deal brokered by NG Chartered Surveyors.

Acting on behalf of landlord Bassi Properties, Richard Sutton, director at NG Chartered Surveyors, sold the 13,349 sq ft Leicester offices at The Osiers to private investors.

Sutton said: “We have a long and fruitful relationship with Bassi Properties, and this is the latest in a long line of deals NG has worked on with the company.

“It was no surprise to me to see this prime office building sold so quickly – Bassi Properties are excellent landlords, and in Howes Percival, the new owners have a very secure tenant.

“Office stock is of course at a premium, but the East Midlands remains a key target for investors. We would welcome the opportunity to talk to landlords or investors who are looking to divest or add to their portfolio.”

Rahul Bassi of Bassi Properties said: “The Osiers Business Park is an excellent location in Leicestershire for Howes Percival. We have thoroughly enjoyed our long and rewarding time as landlords. However, we are now looking forward to investing these funds towards our next large acquisition.”

Ian Torr at Cleggs Solicitors provided legal services for the vendor. He said: “It was good to be involved in a transaction where all parties worked together to ensure a smooth and quick completion of this sale.”
