Nottingham training provider in sales drive

A Nottingham training provider for the extractives sector, MP Skills, is set to expand its sales team with the hire of its first-ever sales manager as part of a new, proactive strategy for its Sales Team at its Nottingham headquarters.

MP Skills has been providing training for the mineral products, quarrying, mining, construction and related sectors for over thirty years. The firm says the creation of the sales manager role is a step towards a more hands-on approach, which also saw the organisation take on a new marketing and communications officer.

MP Skills’ commercial manager, Trish Jagger, said: “As the commercial division a not-for-profit organisation, we have decided to freshen up our approach to sales and services we off to our members and the industry. Part of this is bringing someone in with fresh ideas, who has passion and creativity when it comes to identifying new business opportunities and will work closely with our marketing and communications officer to promote our services. This is a great chance for someone to come in and make the role their own and become an instrumental player in our team.”
