Greggs and Screwfix sign up for new Mansfield development

Greggs and Screwfix have been confirmed as the first tenants of a new development at Strawson Property’s Old Mill Lane scheme in Mansfield.

The two brands have taken 1,350 sq ft and 5,000 sq ft of retail and commercial space respectively.

Construction is now underway on the project and the tenants are expected to move in this Autumn. The site is being marketed by CPP and Innes England.

Adam Jones of Strawsons Property said: “Successfully securing Greggs and Screwfix as tenants at the Old Mill Lane project is indicative of the demand that is out there for high quality and accessible units in Mansfield.

“Interest in the final unit remains high and we are looking forward to further complement the food, drink and trade counter offering already secured.”

Ben Taylor, a Director at Innes England, said: “The commitment from Greggs and Screwfix to the development at such an early stage is testament to the prominence and success of the location, and to the quality of the build being managed by Strawsons Property. It is no surprise that interest in the third unit, which can be used for multiple purposes, is so high.”
