A Nottingham care provider has bought a new care home after landing a funding deal with Barclays

National Care Consortium, which has its head office in Radford Road, has purchased Alderlea in Grimsby – which will offer care for 40 clients.

The company now owns four care homes based in Grimsby, Hull and Driffield. All the deals were funding by Barclays.

Tanzeel Younas, director of National Care Consortium, said: “Part of our strategic growth plan has been to expand into new areas of the country. When the opportunity arose to purchase Alderlea in Grimsby, we were keen to progress. Our ethos has always been to provide high quality care and to ingratiate ourselves with the local community and this is something we will continue to do at these new homes.”

Alan Mele, relationship director at Barclays in Nottingham said: “We have enjoyed a long standing relationship with the business spanning twenty years. Tanzeel and his family have many years’ experience in the industry and we are delighted to support them with this latest purchase which will add to their current portfolio of homes.”
