Homes appliances giant set to sign 1.1m sq ft distribution deal – reports

European home appliances manufacturing giant, BSH Home Appliances – which is behind brands such as Bosch and Siemens – is set to sign a deal for a 1.1m sq ft distribution centre in the Midlands, according to a report in Property Week.

The trade title that that BSH Home Appliances is in talks with Mulberry Developments and Frogmore Properties to pre-let a distribution facility at Midlands Logistics Park in Corby that will be more than double the size of its current 427,000 sq ft warehouse at Prologis Park Kettering.

Midlands Logistics park could deliver up to 5m sq ft of build-to-suit logistics space in a range of configurations.

Phase 1 can provide up to 3.36m sq ft and the permissions allow for a single building of 2.6m sq ft.

It is currently the largest logistics scheme currently being bought forward in the region.
