On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Timms Solicitors have appointed Jo Robinson as head of wills and probate.

Robinson joins the firm from Flint Bishop where she was an associate and will lead a team of ten across Timms’ offices in Derby’s Cathedral Quarter, Burton-upon-Trent, Swadlincote and Ashby.

Robinson is a Fellow of CILEx, Dementia Friends Champion and a fully accredited Member of Solicitors for the Elderly.

She said: “I am delighted to be joining Timms Solicitors who have a reputation for high quality private client and commercial services work.

“As well as building the Wills & Probate department, I am particularly looking forward to expanding Timms’ work as Dementia Friend Champions and the valuable work that the firm is committed to undertaking to support local communities in a number of ways.”

Managing partner Fiona Moffat added: “Jo is a highly respected member of the legal community in this region and brings 16 years’ experience in private client work. Her role and expertise will be key in the future development of the firm.”

Russell Dalby

Bray & Bray has promoted wills, trusts and probate specialist Russell Dalby to associate solicitor less than two years after joining the firm.

With a background in banking and compliance, Dalby decided to retrain as a solicitor in 2010, qualifying in 2014. He joined Bray & Bray, which has offices in Hinckley, Leicester as and Market Harborough, in 2016.

He said: “I find the area of Wills, Trusts and Probate particularly interesting, and I get a great deal of job satisfaction from helping people to get their affairs in order and making sure that they look after their loved ones. I am delighted to be promoted to Associate.”
