Green light for 58,000 sq ft Leicestershire warehouse scheme

Building work on 58,000 sq ft of speculative warehouse space has started at Thurmaston in Leicester.

The Pinfold Gate development on Pinfold Road will comprise units of 22,217 sq ft and 35,791 sq ft, and is being carried out by Russells Construction on behalf of owner RFX Properties.

Property consultants Knight Frank and Innes England have been appointed to market the new scheme.

James Clements, head of Knight Frank’s Industrial & Logistics agency division in the Midlands, said: “These high-specification units will provide much-needed modern accommodation for a range of potential occupiers when completed. The buildings will be available on a new lease on terms to be agreed.”

Jenny Clarke, associate director of Innes England, added: “Pinfold Road Industrial Estate is a popular location in the area, in the Thurmaston district of Leicester just off the A607 and within two miles of the A6 Leicester Western Bypass to the North.”
