Three East Mids restaurants make UK Top 100
Three East Midlands restaurants have made it onto the SquareMeal Best UK Restaurant of 2018 list.
Sat Bains in Nottingham (8th), Hambleton Hall in Oakham (80th) and World Service in Nottingham (93rd) all make the Top 100 restaurants outside of London.
The list is compiled using votes sent in by SquareMeal readers and reviewers from across the UK.
The news comes after Nottingham restaurant Sat Bains was been induced into this year’s Les Grandes Tables du Monde in February – the only new addition to the guide from the UK.
The organisation is a select group of restaurants with long-standing two or three Michelin star ratings. Sat Bains became one of 174 establishments in the world have been invited to join the exclusive club that was established in 1954 by six French chefs.
