Legal team revealed on £58m City Hub

The Nottingham-based property and construction teams of law firm Geldards are providing legal services on the creation of the new, landmark college building in the city, the City Hub.

The City Hub is part of Nottingham College and the city’s Southern Gateway scheme. It will include workspace for businesses to encourage the linking of students and local businesses, a new training restaurant, café and performing arts centre as well as modern teaching space. Work begins on site on 1st June 2018 with completion and opening in 2020.

The property team is led by partner David Watson.

He said: “This complex, high profile case involves multiple parties, multiple sites and tight deadlines, but the team here at Geldards are well equipped to, and experienced in dealing with this. This scheme is vital for the future regeneration of the city and shows Geldards’ commitment to working in and developing Nottingham, where we have had a base for almost 15 years.”
