110 Wollaton homes tipped for go-ahead

Some 110 homes are set to take a step closer this week after Nottingham City Council planning chiefs will recommend the scheme for approval.

The houses are set to be built on the site of the former Siemens factory and offices at 100 Woodyward Lane in Wollaton after the Nottingham County Council Pension submitted a planning application in January.

According to documents seen by TheBusinessDesk.com, the new homes will be “predominantly family-sized”.

The statement continues: “The scheme will provide a well-considered layout, designed to be safe and easy to navigate; enhance natural surveillance over streets and pedestrian
routes; and making provision for amenity green space and children’s play space within.”
