Premium coffee supplier opens at Belvoir Castle retail outlet

The new Cherizena store

Cherizena, a Leicestershire-based supplier of rare and premium coffee beans and artisan producer of flavoured Colombian coffee, is the latest store to open at the Engine Yard retail development at Belvoir Castle.

The store follows chocolatier Cocoa Amore and plant centre The Idle Mole at the new development.

Cherizena sources rare and premium coffee beans from around the world. It also produces artisan-flavoured coffee, with more than 40 speciality blends to choose from. A new range of teas has also been developed and sourced for the Engine Yard.

Her Grace the Duchess of Rutland, chief executive of Belvoir Castle, said: “The openings of the Idle Mole plant centre and Cocoa Amore have been highly successful and it’s great to see the latest store to launch. Britain is becoming far more demanding in its coffee tastes and we are sure that Cherizena’s extraordinary range of products will satisfy everyone from those who are just dipping their toes to committed coffee connoisseurs.”

Cherizena owner Tanith Wesson said: “We can’t wait to demonstrate our collection of speciality coffee and tea sourced from all over the world to visitors to this idyllic space at the Engine Yard. We have built up a great customer base from our online store and visiting events, markets and food fairs so we’re looking forward to opening our doors to our first store.”

The Engine Yard has also revealed that the luxury spa, Belvoir Casa, will stock premium products supplied by Acqua Di Parma for its full range of hair and beauty treatments.

Butcher and farm shop, The Country Victuallers, craft and toy store, Crafts4Kids, homewares retailer, Margo and Plum, and specialist deli, Jorge Artisan Foods, will be opening in the coming weeks.
