Clinic owner set to make further investment in jobs and equipment

Louise White in her clinic

The owner of a 3,000 sq ft body aesthetics clinic in Lincoln is set to invest in her business again – just weeks after opening.

Louise White recently relocated Body Lipo Lincoln from The Terrace to the city’s High Street.

Now, White wants to install incontinence therapy equipment, recruit a full-time therapist and start planning how she will revamp the second floor of the premises.

She said: “My business has built-up a great following of local clients and people who travel from further afield for fat reduction, facial micro needling and infra-red sauna pod therapies. This number was boosted by a charity open evening when visitors could see and try these treatments for themselves.

“The clinic’s growth has also seen me expand to employ two part-timers and now I am ready to grow further, as part of my drive to offer services which are traditionally only found in larger UK cities or abroad.

“I am excited about the potential of a high-tech, non-invasive urinary incontinence treatment, which is delivered by the client using a Czech-made BTL ‘chair’. Investing in this would make us only the third centre in the UK to own one.

“So, in keeping with my determination to clearly explain to people how different treatments work, I have decided to have a special open event where they can come and try this technology for themselves. It will take place on July 31.

“Incontinence can be the result of age, childbirth or the menopause. It is blamed for deterring more than a third of women from taking part in athletic activities. It eats into their self-confidence and can even lead to depression, so this is potentially a “life-changing” therapy,” said Louise.

The ‘chair’ stimulates and restores the pelvic floor muscles, whilst people remain fully clothed. It is based on electromagnetic energy and the re-education of those muscles.

“Research claims that 95 per cent of patients treated have seen a “significant improvement” in their quality of life, with 67 per cent being completely dry. Another plus point is that this is a therapy which also falls into the increasingly popular category of ‘lunch hour’ treatments,” said White.

On the first floor of the Body Lipo Lincoln clinic, White offers fat freezing treatments to reduce pockets of fat in problem areas like the lower tummy, hip or inner thighs. This is done using ultrasound technology that employs temperatures cold enough to kill fat cells, but does not damage skin.

Her fat melting treatment, which uses low frequency ultrasound, is also used to tighten waists, tummies and thighs. Both techniques are non-invasive and dead cells and fluid are dealt with by the lymphatic system.

In addition to its treatment rooms, the clinic also features a large studio, suitable for rent for exercise sessions, demonstrations and talks.
