On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Property consultancy Fisher German has made a senior appointment to head up an expansion of its new homes operation.

Ella Cartwright has joined the firm as national new homes manager and is tasked with creating a national profile for the firm’s New Homes team.

Cartwright, who is based in Fisher German’s Ashby office, joins the firm from Bidwells where she spent four years as a sales negotiator.

She said: “Fisher German is a nationally established brand with a fantastic reputation and I look forward to using my expertise to grow the New Homes team and add value to the firm.

“I am going to be taking the new homes provision that was already in place and expanding this to move it on to the next level for our clients.”

Ben Marshalsay, head of the development sector at Fisher German, said: “Ella is a driven and ambitious individual who has valuable experience working within the new homes sector.

“We are very excited to welcome her to the firm as we look to grow our new homes service nationally to compliment the services we offer locally.”

Luke Prout

Lincoln-based accountancy firm Streets has appointed Luke Prout as a tax partner.

He joins from MHA MacIntyre Hudson.

Paul Tutin, Streets chairman and managing partner, said: “We are delighted that Luke has joined us as a Partner. His appointment is an important part of the development of our firm’s tax expertise and resource.

“Luke joins a practice wide tax team which includes 6 dedicated tax partners and over 20 technical staff. In his new role he will focus on looking after the needs of existing and new clients from across the East of England and in particular our offices in Peterborough, Cambridge, Stevenage and Bedford. With his particular specialism in more complex corporate tax matters he will also play a key role across whole of practice, including the East Midlands, London and the South East.”
