Carillion receivers to auction off Loughborough land and roads

Some 5.75 acres of freehold land and roads in Loughborough owned by collapsed construction firm Carillion are set to be auctioned off.

Auction house Allsop are selling the site at an auction on 19 July. In total, some 13 lots will be auctioned off, including 12 car parking spaces at Molineux Stadium, home to Wolverhampton Wanderers FC.

Richard Adamson, auctioneer and partner at Allsop said: “These are all very unique and unusual lots which have already generated excellent levels of interest. The auction process provides both complete transparency and the perfect platform to allow bidders locally, regionally and nationally to bid against each other. This will ensure that best price is achieved on the day, which will no doubt be of great comfort to the sellers in such a high-profile case.”

The auction will take place on July 19th at The InterContinental London hotel, Park Lane W1J 7QY.
