A Lincoln firm of recruitment and training specialists, which are on course for revenues of more than £6m this year, says it is looking to create jobs after moving offices.

Lincoln-based chartered surveyor Banks Long & Co has leased premises in Pioneer Wayto Red Recruitment 24:7 which says it is planning to buy the offices in the near future.

Red Recruitment 24:7 employs 20 people – across its sites in Scunthorpe (where the business started) – at Newland in Lincoln and in Gainsborough.

Chief executive Mark Morley said: “We are very keen to buy our new premises because we anticipate creating about 14 more jobs over the next 18 months. By this time next year, we also estimate we will have spent £675,000 on our expansion, when you take into account the inevitable infrastructure costs involved.

“We are relocating our group accounts department from Newland to Pioneer Way, handling some of our recruitment work from our new offices and setting-up a dedicated training suite, to allow us to train 40 to 60 people at a time for our clients. This is perfect for companies which wish to have their staff trained off-site.”

Banks Long & Co trainee surveyor Harry Hodgkinson said: “We are pleased to have rented these prominently-located offices, which face Doddington Road, on behalf of our private client and given Red Recruitment 24:7 the option to buy them at a later date. We wish Mark and his team all the best for the future.”
