Packaging firm expands in Ilkeston

FHP Property Consultants, acting on behalf of private clients, has sold the ML Automotive Unit, Griffon Road on Quarryhill Industrial Estate, Ilkeston.

The 4,500 sq ft property has been bought by KB Packaging, which adds to its premises in Merlin Way.

Thomas Szymkiw, of FHP’s industrial department, said: “In a market starved of good quality freehold options I am pleased to have secured a sale price for the property which has both exceeded the asking price and my client’s expectations. Such was the level of interest in the unit, we were inundated with offers so I am very pleased that KB have managed to secure a unit located so close to their current operation.”
