Browne Jacobson steps up for Hot Property

Vicky Gaskell, Browne Jacobson

This week we sat down with Vicky Gaskell, lawyer at Browne Jacobson, to catch up on their involvement as one of the main sponsors for Nottingham Hot Property 2018.

How many years has Browne Jacobson been attending Hot Property?

Browne Jacobson has supported Hot Property since the very first show. As well as attending the event for all these years, our senior partner, Derek Bambury has played guitar for quite a number of those!

What is the best thing about being a sponsor?

Browne Jacobson first sponsored Hot Property last year and after such a fantastic event we made the decision to step up and become one of the main sponsors this year. Hot Property always champions such wonderful charities that we are keen to support.

The event provides a brilliant networking opportunity across a number of different areas of our firm, from property, construction, commercial and corporate. In addition to the performers meeting up regularly with other professionals for rehearsals, our people attending from the different teams use the event to invite various clients and intermediaries in what is a really unique event, and everyone has a fantastic night.

Is anyone from Browne Jacobson getting up on stage?

The line-up hasn’t been announced yet but I’m sure someone from the team will be getting up on stage. I’ve been either singing or playing in the band for the last few years and I really enjoy getting involved.

As well as performing, our people from Browne Jacobson have also previously helped behind the scenes to support backstage.  There is a lot of work which goes into putting on such a professional performance and so this is another great way for our people to get involved in the event, it’s a real team effort.

Browne Jacobson is a national law firm, with headquarters in Nottingham. The firm offers services across a number of key sectors including private, public, health, insurance and education.

Alongside Browne Jacobson there are eight other sponsors including Millward – the headline sponsor – Pulse Associates, Couch Perry Wilkes, Samclo Construction, Paragon Interiors, Faithful+Gould, Fraser Brown and CPMG. Joining these are Invest in Nottingham, PR agency Cartwright Communications, design agency Blimey Creative and design and print agency Ginger Root.

Tickets are now on sale via the Nottingham Hot Property website www.nottinghamhotproperty.com and cost £30 a ticket or £25 a ticket for an order of 10 or more tickets.
