Gasson leaves FSB for government role

Natalie Gasson

Natalie Gasson, small business development manager at the Federation of Small Businesses, has left the organisation to take up a new government role.

Gasson, who had been with the FSB for eight years, will become Midlands Engine strategic lead for the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government.

Gasson has chosen to spend her last day in her old role by organising a final team meeting in which local small businesses will be at the top of the agenda, at independent event space and café Th!nk Cobden Chambers.

She said: “Over the years I’ve spent so much time in fantastic small businesses like Th!nk in order to get to grips with the challenges and opportunities that small business owners face. To spend my last day behind a desk would be ridiculous, getting out into the business community is what I’ve enjoyed most. Across the region we’re incredibly fortune to have a diverse range of independent businesses and it’s been a privilege to represent them.”
