Derbyshire pub sold to local operator

Licensed and leisure property specialist Everard Cole has brokered a deal to sell the Half Moon in Whitwell Common, Derbyshire.

The pub us based in the Derbyshire village of Whitwell Common on the Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire border.

The property was sold to local pub operator, The Pub People Company, which has been in the pub industry since 1993. The company owns and operates around 50 pubs in the East Midlands and South Yorkshire.

Everard Cole director Jon Heald said: “The Half Moon is an attractive pub with enormous potential and we received terrific interest from a number of operators.

“The Pub People are a very successful local company and we’re confident they will make the pub a great success once they re-open the business and we wish them all the best for the future.”
