Renewable energy company Greenio – which has offices in Lincolnshire – has appointed a new sales and marketing manager.

Perdy Humfrey, a graduate from The Royal Agricultural University, achieved a degree in international agri-business management. Since graduating in 2016, she has worked in sales with focus on insurance in the farming industry.

Humfrey said: “I really believe in the importance of renewable energy for the future of agriculture, so when the opportunity arose to work at Greenio, I knew it was an ideal fit. It’s up to companies such as Greenio to reach out to farmers and advise them on the options available to support and grow their business.

“My favourite part of this new role is the opportunity to make a real difference to the region’s businesses by being part of Greenio’s work to combat rising energy bills through improved sustainability.”

Anna Wooster, managing director of Greenio, said: “We are now turning over £1m, we have over £1m worth of work in the pipeline, and we have ambitions to continue growing at a fast pace; investing in the team to meet this workload is therefore essential and Perdy is an integral part of our future plans.”

Accountancy firm Smith Cooper has promoted Selma Kuduzovic to head of marketing and Orla Flint to head of innovation.

Managing partner James Bagley said: “As a professional services firm, each of our internal departments are intrinsically linked and must operate collaboratively to help us achieve our company mission and goals.”

“By harnessing the internal skills within each functionality, and working closely with colleagues in other departments, we aim to provide the most fluid and reliable range of services to our clients, and be the Midlands’ go-to accountants and business advisors.”
