Traffic Alert: Severe delays on A50 due to overturned trailer

The A50 Doveridge Bypass westbound is closed between the two junctions with the A515 near Sudbury while several large hay bales are removed after a trailer overturned earlier this morning.

A diversion is operation. Traffic should exit at the first A515 junction (Sudbury (East)) and head south and then turn right on to Main Road. Head west through Sudbury to rejoin the A50 westbound at the next junction (Sudbury (West)).

There are severe delays approaching the closure and road users are urged to consider alternative routes if possible, and to allow plenty of extra time for their journey.
