Blimey get creative for Notts Hot Property

When you think of Nottingham Hot Property (NHP) I’m sure you think of the performers, the great themes and having a few drinks with friends. However, there are a lot of hard working people behind the scenes who help bring it all together.

One of those people is Ade Pritchard and his team at Blimey Creative who have been creating all the fantastic artwork for Hot Property over the years. We caught up with him to talk all things creative.

How long have you been involved with Hot Property?

As an agency, we’ve actually supported NHP since 2010, but took on a larger role with the creative in 2012 when we became fully involved with developing the theme designs and additional creative elements.

We have created six bespoke theme designs overall – designing multiple theme concepts each year, then developing these through into full event artwork, rolled out across multiple platforms.

How much work goes into the creative?

Each year we donate more than 80 hours to NHP, including design, digital and marketing support as well as a dedicated account manager to handle the project management and correspondence between multiple sponsors and committee, in order to bring that year’s theme to life.

We really love being involved as the team primarily works with large FMCG brands so it’s great to come together and support something local. Hot Property also allows us to experiment and be truly creative without the restriction of brand guidelines or corporate tape.

What has been your favourite theme?

The Hollywood theme in 2016 has to be our favourite. Every sponsor got really involved and the recreated film posters on each table really showcased the personality and individual character of each business – it led to quite a few laughs!

This year there are eight other sponsors including Millward – the headline sponsor – Pulse Associates, Couch Perry Wilkes, Samclo Construction, Paragon Interiors, Faithful+Gould, Fraser Brown, CPMG and Browne Jacobson. Joining these alongside Blimey Creative are Invest in Nottingham, PR agency Cartwright Communications and design and print agency Ginger Root.

Tickets are now on sale via the Nottingham Hot Property website www.nottinghamhotproperty.com and cost £30 a ticket or £25 a ticket for an order of 10 or more tickets.
