West Bridgford bar and restaurant in sudden closure

A West Brigford bar and restaurant has suddenly closed.

Mud Crab, on Central Avenue closed on Sunday and a company spokesperson confirmed that it won’t be reopening.

TheBusinessDesk.com noted last month that Mud Crab, which earlier this year rebranded to Wild Vine Bar and Brasserie, had failed to open on a Monday. However, it reopened the next day.

Now, it appears the once-popular bar, which was called Felicini when it opened in West Bridgford but changed names to Mud Crab in 2013, is closed for good.

The West Bridgford venue was part of a small chain of restaurants – the others being in Sheffield, Didsbury and Manchester.
