Houses of Parliament terror attack car ‘registered in Nottingham’, say reports

The car used in a suspected ‘terror attack’ on Parliament is believed to have been registered in Nottingham, according to Sky News ‘sources’.

Sky News is also saying that the suspect, in his 20s, is from Birmingham, while the Nottingham Post says that an address in Peveril Street in the city has been searched.

He was driving a car that collided with barries outside Parliament at around 7.40am on Tuesday morning (14 August) and is reported to be not co-operating with police.

The Metropolitan Police are treating the incident as a ‘terror attack’.
