On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Clare Bullivant

Sleaford Quality Foods, the Lincolnshire-based ingredients supplier to the food industry, has expanded again after hiring Clare Bullivant as category buyer.

Bullivant will be responsible for the procurement of a range of raw material categories for the fast-expanding business, which earlier this year underwent a multimillion-pound expansion with the addition of new premises in the Lincolnshire town of Sleaford.

She said: “I knew of Sleaford Quality Foods from my days of working at Premier Foods, and knew they were a stable and growing business, with great potential and open to new ideas and ways of working to help improve customer service to our customers. I’m really happy to part of a company that has such ambitious growth plans.”

James Arnold, managing director of Sleaford Quality Foods, said: “Clare is a great addition to our team. She’ll use her huge experience to drive areas such as Category Management and system/process knowledge forward. It’s fantastic to have her on board.”

Mark Thomas

Two graduates from Savills Lincoln and Peterborough offices have qualified for the RICS Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) which recognises them as practising chartered surveyors.

Lincoln-based Michael Gilbert and Peterborough-based Mark Thomas, who both form part of the Midlands architecture and building surveying team at the firm, are now members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

Richard Vincent, head of architecture and building surveying at Savills in the East Midlands, said: “I’d like to congratulate Michael and Mark for their success. The APC is a challenging professional qualification combining employment with study and training, and the fantastic results we have enjoyed locally and nationally demonstrate both the calibre of our people and the strength and depth of our graduate training programme.”
