PXtech provides lean solution for Slimming World

PXtech, the Derby-headquartered specialist in EPoS and business intelligence software, has been appointed by weight-loss organisation Slimming World to provide payment tills at its new head office restaurant.

Slimming World employs more than 350 staff at its Alfreton-based HQ and the organisation has recently opened an extension which houses an advanced training centre for the 4,800 consultants who run slimming groups in their local communities as well as creating more space for its staff, including a new 460-seater restaurant.

PXtech will be installing two new tills at the restaurant. The open-ended partnership will see PXtech install and maintain the latest EPoS platforms at the restaurant, which it says will enable Slimming World to process payments more quickly and facilitate smoother communication between the restaurant manager and finance team.

The partnership marks the latest in a series of high-profile client wins for PXtech, which has also partnered with pizza restaurant and takeaway PIZZASQR and high-end French patisserie brand PAUL in recent months.
