On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Nottingham chartered accountant Clayton & Brewill has added to its team with three new appointments.

The firm has recruited Ben Skillings and Dom Glover as trainee accountants and Holly Dinsdale as an accountant.

Skillings joins Clayton & Brewill from Murphy Salisbury Chartered Accountants in Stratford-upon-Avon where he worked as a trainee accountant after graduating from Nottingham Trent University with a degree in Accounting and Finance. He is currently studying for his ACA qualification.

Dinsdale previously worked as a purchase ledger clerk in industry after four years at Duncan & Toplis as a trainee accountant. At Clayton & Brewill, she will work on accounts for sole traders, partnerships and small limited companies.

Glover recently graduated from Sheffield Hallam University after studying Accounting and Finance and completing a placement year at Mundipharma R&D in 2016. His trainee position will involve audit work as well as providing accounting services.

Neil South, partner at Clayton & Brewill, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Ben, Holly and Dom to the Clayton & Brewill team.

Lincoln BIG has announced that Sarah Loftus will be joining the Business Improvement Group in late September as its chief executive designate.

Loftus, who has more than 25 years’ experience in regeneration and economic development and community safety – gained in senior roles within the public, private and voluntary sectors – will initially work alongside current chief executive Matt Corrigan.

Loftus said: “Lincoln BIG is a partnership and has a great team of people behind it, from the staff and directors through to its levy payers. I’m really looking forward to playing my part in the organisation going forward. Lincoln is such a lovely and exciting city and its going to be great to be part of it.”
