Trent Bridge says it ‘got it wrong’ as it cancels ticket charge for last day of Test

Trent Bridge

Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club has admitted it “got it wrong” after trying to charge £10 for the final day of the Test Match set to take place today.

With India needing only one wicket to win, entry to day five of the third Specsavers Test match between England and India will now be free of charge.

All current ticket holders will be refunded and we and admission will be free on the gates.

Parking will also be free of charge today, with those that have pre-booked with us to be refunded.

A statement from Notts CCC said: “Gates will open at 9am and we’d love for you to join us for the conclusion of the match.

“Donations will be collected at the gates and given to charity.”

India need a single wicket to claim victory and keep the series alive whilst England need 210 runs to win with James Anderson and Adil Rashid at the crease.
