Hot Property is ‘highlight of Notts social calendar’ for CPMG

This year’s Nottingham Hot Property (NHP) is heating up to be one of the best with ticket flying off the shelves – so make sure you get yours quick! This week we sat down with Nick Gregory, director at CPMG Architects, to see how the long-time sponsors are feeling about this year’s event.

How many years have you been attending Hot Property?

I’ve been going pretty much since the start but we’ve only been taking a large ‘Team CPMG’ crowd for the last five years or so and from a sponsorship point of view, we’ve been involved since 2007. It’s great being part of such a superb event – without facing 12 months of fear at the thought of being on stage.

What is your favourite thing about Hot Property?

It’s definitely a highlight of the Nottingham social calendar – everybody relaxes and has a smile on their face. You certainly see a different side to people when they’re on stage and I have massive admiration for anybody with musical talent and the nerve to get on stage. My favourite moment (so far) was seeing Ash Cowdrey performing La Bamba last year – he’s such a shy, reticent chap normally!

What do you think to the theme this year – ‘Nottstock’?

My idea of a festival is probably very different from the younger contingent so it’s difficult to say, but the organisers never disappoint so I trust them to get it spot on again – I’m sure it will be brilliant.
