‘Severe delays’ as A42 closes in Leicestershire

There are severe delays on the A42 in both directions, due to an incident at Junction 13.

Two lanes are closed southbound and traffic is being diverted via the entry and exit slip roads.

The northbound carriageway is also currently blocked.

Road users are advised to allow extra time for their journeys and may wish to consider alternative routes.
