‘Turbo-charged’ deal sees two Derby property companies form alliance

AKS Residential, founded by managing director Andrew Sanderson two years ago, has moved from its Pride Park offices into Professional Properties’ home on Ashbourne Road.

Sanderson says that the partnership will “give greater power” to both companies’ respective sales and lettings services.

He said: “Professional Properties has a sales arm but is primarily a lettings agency which has been around 20 years and is very well established.

“We at AKS Residential have been around two years and have been involved in lettings but the vast majority of our business is sales.

“This deal has turbo-charged us because we are now concentrating on sales and they are focused on lettings. Rather than being all things to all people we are concentrating on the element we enjoy and do the best.

“We are still separately-owned but we have a partnership agreement. We are delighted to be joining forces with such a high profile, well respected company and with us both being Independently owned family business’s there is a lot of synergy between us.”

“Most importantly, this will be of great benefit to our customers because of the crossover between those wanting to sell and those wanting to rent out properties. We will now offer a seamless service where clients will be dealing with specialists in their fields.”
