Plans for indoor golf centre get green light

Plans to turn a restaurant into an indoor golf centre in Derby have been approved by the City Council.

Lewis & Hickey on behalf of Dam Doctzan submitted the plans for the May Sum restaurant on Babington Lane in Derby city centre in July.

The new venture is set to create 13 jobs and safeguard eight others.

The new plans include a restaurant and bar as well as indoor golf facilities spread across 16,576 sq ft.

The new leisure venue will be open from 11am until midnight, seven days a week.
