Wealth management firm to create 12 jobs with office move

The Rhodes Wealth Management team

Rhodes Wealth Management says it is set to increase its workforce from 16 to 28 with a move away from Pride Park.

The company, which is a part of the St James’s Place group, is moving from Pride Park to a farm conversion in Brailsford, allowing it to expand its team.

Managing director Adam Rhodes said: “We are excited about the move to such attractive new offices and are delighted to have seen a significant increase in our client base.

“Our customers recognise that we differ from our competitors because we go far beyond basic financial advice. Over the years, we have become our clients’ friends. As we grow, our customer-first philosophy will not change.”

Rhodes Wealth Management was established in 2007 by Adam Rhodes in his parents’ garden shed, now helps more than 1,000 households and businesses across Derby and Derbyshire.

The new headquarters in Luke Lane, Brailsford, will keep many of the historic features of the corn stores barn conversion which was the former showroom of tile company, Stoneworks.

Operations manager Tristan Gilbody said: “The move will enable us to increase staff numbers from 16 to 20 by the end of the year and to between 25 and 28 next year.”
