On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Rothera Sharp Solicitors has appointed a new trainee in its litigation department, while a former trainee starting her job as a newly qualified solicitor within the firm’s family law department.

Billy Shaw began his training contract with Rothera Sharp at the beginning of September on completion of his LPC at Nottingham Trent Law School.

Meanwhile, former trainee Rebecca Lister will be starting her new role as a solicitor in the family law department, after qualifying earlier this month.

Ann-Marie Bowman, managing partner at Rothera Sharp said: “We are delighted to welcome Billy to the firm and have Rebecca come on board as a newly qualified solicitor. Billy has clearly excelled during his time at university and is already proving to be a real asset to the litigation team. We are also thrilled that Rebecca has decided to stay on at the firm as a fully qualified family law solicitor. Having witnessed her strong work ethic as a trainee she always goes the extra mile and is proof of how far trainees can progress at Rothera Sharp.”

John Bricknell

Software and data solutions provider Data Clarity has appointed John Bricknell as its new sales consultant.

Bricknell joins the Derby-based company having spent the last 20 years working as a sales manager for telecoms businesses managing teams of in-bound and outbound sales agents.

Kevin Carrick, Data Clarity chief executive, said: “Having spent a great deal of time perfecting our software solutions we are now at a crucial stage in our business. John will play an important role in helping us reach our target markets and the right decision makers to help ensure they understand how we can help transform their business and build customer loyalty by harnessing the data and insights they are gathering about their customers’ buying behaviour and preferences.”
