Nottingham fire compliance software firm sold to global player

A fire compliance and software company in Nottingham has been sold to a global design and manufacturing business, which sells specialist detection products to the fire industry.

LAN Control Systems (LCS), which is owned by founder Adam Welton, has been acquired by FFE, which has its headquarters in Hitchin, and offices in the USA, Dubai, India and China.

LCS, provides an innovative cloud based system, ‘Nimbus’, to monitor fire systems and to enable facility managers and maintenance companies to manage compliance.

Oliver Burstall, managing director of FFE said: “I am delighted to announce that FEE completed the acquisition of LCS. I am particularly excited by the opportunities presented by LCS to grow its recurring revenue base, and to stretch its offering into other connected building spaces.”
