New director for Trentbarton

Vicky Williams has been promoted to director of commercial services at the bus company trentbarton.

Williams joined trentbarton in February 2014 as commercial manager from a similar role at Go South Coast. Before joining the public transport sector, she spent a decade in banking and insurance.

She said: “I’m very proud to have been made a director. It is such an interesting time to be in our business, with initiatives like Clean Air Zones challenging us to be more sustainable whilst providing a better and better service for customers.

“The last five years have been the best of my working life and I’m looking forward to an equally enjoyable future with trentbarton.”

Trentbarton managing director Jeff Counsell said: “Vicky has established herself as a valuable contributor and effective member of the senior management team.

“Responsible for all aspects of our commercial activity, Vicky has also proven to be an excellent ambassador for the company. This change in status better reflects the importance and value of the role she performs and has earned.”
